COREY - Started his brokerage career in 1979 in Sale and Purchase and quickly became one of the industry's elite, successfully brokering the sale of ships ranging from Container vessels to ULCC'S. PETER J. TORNABEN -A founding partner and senior broker with a degree in finance, his professional career started on Wall Street trading derivatives and related products from 1984-1990. Prior to starting Southport Maritime Inc., he financed Residual Fuel and Gas oil sales to the maritime community exposing him to most international oil companies and ship owners.

Matt comes from a Ship Brokering family and is proud to be the 3rd generation in this industry. Graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2008, Matt interned with Minerva Marine for several months before joining the Southport team permanently. His primary focus is on dirty petroleum products and crude moves worldwide.

After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Maritime Administration degree, he spent his early career at Lonestar R.S Platou and was eventually made Partner and Director.
